Love The Leash Dog Walking Service is a professional dog walking service built on the idea that all dogs have the right to enjoyable, daily walks regardless of age, behaviour or physical ability. Owner/operator Tovay Helgesen knows all too well what it’s like to share her home with a reactive dog and a dog with physical limitations. She founded Love The Leash in hopes of offering specialized services to other owners in the same situation or anyone who wants to provide their best friend with a customizable, fun filled outing.
All dogs are welcome. We can provide a solid bottom backpack for dogs up to 15lbs, and are always looking to acquire more mobility aiding equipment. |
We believe in a force free approach to handling dogs and guarantee that no dog will subjected to mental or physical discomfort in the name of training while in our care. We use counter conditioning, environmental management and engagement to give your dog the best possible walking experience while maintaining control and good behaviour. We are happy to discuss any training plans, cue words, or strategies you have in place and will use them to maintain consistency for your dog.
Walks are available six days a week, from Sunday through Friday. |
